Inside the platform, there is a shallow space filled with a cushioned core you don't see but feel with every step. The height of the wedge means that there is still flex for a normal stride.

Black is not black. This rich-coloured leather has layers of deep, dark almost black colour that reveals a rusty richness from beneath. Truly artisan leather. The canvas will reveal itself with time.
