It's quite interesting seeing projects that have obviously been worked on for quite some time unveil themselves for this summer's Olympics.London Pleasure Gardens is new 35k capacity arts and entertainment destination. The 20 acre riverside site features open-air concerts, dance and theatre arenas, a boutique hotel and a floating cocktail bar. We went down on the weekend, there is still some finishing touches to be done and they could do with adding some greenery to make it that bit more pleasurable and 'garden like' but overall we were quite impressed that this has all suddenly and unassumingly appeared!
