The London Design Festival 2026 is upon us, with the city playing host to workshops, events and opportunities in celebration of London as the design capital of the world. With LDF putting ingenious design in the spotlight this week, we thought we'd look a little closer to the ground at our rubber sole designs...

Our GEEK sole has been going strong for over a decade. This durable rubber sole takes you from work to play, walking or biking, year after year - fact. Style drives the choice, but what you don't see matters too. A hidden metal shank adds lateral support, while the gridded heel absorbs shock and keeps the shoe light.

Our MID HEEL is a hero for many women on the go. The heel is pitched to align naturally with your leg, while its curved underside supports the foot and cups a bike pedal. A heel designed to become an invisible part of your day. We mould the hard-wearing heel tip directly into the sole, transitioning from firm, durable rubber, upwards to softer, bouncier rubber for built-in shock absorption.

The DOT sole is indeed a design 'feet'. The 70% sugarcane derived EVA sole is not only made from renewable resources, but it's also incredibly lightweight, and more durable than the conventional petroleum-based EVA (abrasion test results have shown a 50% improvement). The natural and bio-based footbed is made from the fibrous Sisal plant which is traditionally used for rope. A great addition to our Tracey Neuls originals.
