Designer Tracey Neuls has produced a limited edition of shoes exclusive for The Art Car Boot Fair 2017 in keeping with their theme ‘The Original.'
In 1998, Neuls studied at Cordwainer’s Footwear college before launching her eponymous label in 2000. She designed a ‘heart’ toe shape that has become an important part of her design history. All toe and heel shapes seen in the collections to this day continue to be originally sculpted in plasticine by Tracey herself. This element of sculpture is very rare and refusing to use any readymade, prefab components off the factory shelf, makes every detail unique and original to Tracey Neuls.
Tracey has innovated her 1998 shapes, paying homage to her own, original designs. Her newly launched ‘Heart Collection’ includes ‘The Dean Original.’ Reminiscent, yet never seen before, this black perforated leather upper is matched with a heart shaped rubber sole. A classic combination exclusive to The Art Car Boot Fair 2017.
It is Neuls’ conceptual approach to footwear that makes her the designer of choice for the creative individual. Celebrating 'the original' re-enforces exactly what her company stands for; the fact that Tracey designs from the heart, for the wearer and believes in creating a totally timeless product.
