Tracey Neuls for Craft Week - May 13th
As part of Craft Week, we were delighted to host a special event celebrating 25 years of Tracey Neuls Footwear: a unique live drawing experience led by Tracey Neuls and the talented guest artist Laxmi Hussain.
The evening offered an immersive workshop focused on the art of mark-making, inviting attendees to explore the distinctive shapes and details that define Tracey's iconic footwear.
Set around a beautifully arranged banquet-style table, a diverse group of individuals, from experienced artists to those new to creative exploration, came together. With paper tablets and a variety of mark-making tools provided, they were invited to capture the essence of Tracey's designs as presented by a live model. Adding to the delightful atmosphere, guests enjoyed a selection of tasty and refreshing drinks provided by Rapscallion Soda.
The atmosphere was filled with a palpable sense of creativity, expression, and shared inspiration, further enhanced by the delicious refreshments from Rapscallion Soda. It was a privilege to witness the unique artistic interpretations that emerged.
As a way to share the creative outcomes of this special evening, the artwork produced during the event is currently displayed in-store. It's a wonderful testament to the inspiring nature of Tracey Neuls' designs and the artistic talent of those who participated.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for this memorable live drawing event, to the wonderful Laxmi Hussain for her inspiring collaboration, and to Rapscallion Soda for keeping our guests refreshed with their tasty drinks. It was a truly special way to mark 25 years of Tracey Neuls' innovative spirit during Craft Week.
