Slip Outside (For a Bit)
"Many contradictions are occurring at the moment. They have closed the park near our house which makes sense, so we've been taking dusky strolls up and down the street of an evening. Quite amazing how keeping distance has resulted in us having across the road conversations with neighbours we never knew we had." - Tracey Neuls
'Neuls Mules' are an addition and addiction to the summer selection of easygoing, slip-on casual footwear. This mule sits high on the foot with a roomy feel - essentially an outdoor slipper to glide around town in. Inspired by the babouche, but built for a lot more walking.
If you've expected the mule to be tight, rest assured that after 5 minutes you will be addicted to the unrestrained feel that is somehow secure at the same time. We have carefully tailored the Italian leather to ensure a fit you can walk in with comfort and confidence.
The mules are light as a feather and their flexible sole moves easily with your foot. Your true fit arrives faster if you bend the toe box down before wearing and slide your foot all the way in. Insanely comfortable.
If you find you have a wider foot or are usually a half size, then do select the size up.
"Footwear has got to be functional. Mules of the 16th century to the 19th century were bedroom or "boudoir slippers" worn inside and not out in public. It was actually after I sprained my ankle exercising that I embraced the design of a MULE, purely for the intention that I needed something as close to a slipper that I could also wear outside. They mended me well and with their malleable rubber soles, have become a much loved rival to our sandals and house slippers" - Tracey Neuls
