Fondation Maeght

Last week, Tracey visited the Fondation Maeght near Nice, France.
A unique destination, Maeght truly houses one of the finest Art collections in the world. The foundation combines, architecture, art and nature to sublime effect, with a sculpture garden full to the brim with Modern and contemporary works; a chapel with stained-glass window by Georges Braque; a Miró labyrinth; Giacometti Courtyard, and the Galerie itself.
What makes La Fondation so special, is that the whole place was designed by Catalan architect Josep Lluís Sert (1902-1983) - a close friend and contemporary of artists Picasso, Chagall, and Calder, to integrate artworks into the very structure of his design.
There is a summer programme of events, workshops, film screenings and more, that you can check out here, to plan your visit.
Tracey wears Mule Washed Neon - the perfect slip-on summer shoe to make a sleek modernist statement.
The foundation is open every day 10-6pm
