Heart Shaped Toe

Inspired by the 1935 Red Model painting by Magritte and a history of clothes making to 'fit the body' Tracey began to explore the toe shape like one would a bust or armhole - a nod to her former Fashion Design training. The heart shaped toe was first formed in 1997 as part of her Cordwainer College work, later to debut in her launch collection in 1999. The timelessness of this design prevails and is seen again this season for AW25. Afterall, the body shape does not go out of style.

It began in 2007 with a leather sole - playing with proportions, a shadow like heel and toe sit well under the shoe itself. The toe shape is only symmetrical when the pair of feet are together, mirroring each other. As time passed, rubber soles became more popular and we designed our rubber mould to keep the shadow heel, whilst pulling the front sole from its hidden position well over the toe in an elongated fashion.

From reflective textiles to limited editions, this line combines sporty and smart in a collectible, ever-evolving style.  "Beautiful shoes for an active life" as described by The London Design Museum, the Geek Collection has been an iconic favourite.

One Piece Upper

Inspired by shadows and their silhouettes, Neuls pioneered the seamless, leather-wrapped high heel, which elegantly curves from the ankle, creating a continuous, graceful silhouette. This labor-intensive design, a hallmark of her brand, has become an icon of red-carpet craftsmanship. The upper and heel are seamless, one piece of leather - another example of clothing the foot.

Full Circle

Looking at the shape of the foot, Tracey designed around the round void over the arch. Thinking in graphic shapes, it seemed natural to fill the space with a circle. A Neuls shoe is about shapes, proportions and graphic play - embellishment is sculptural. All throughout her work, she has played with this aspect from heels to her most recent DOT trainer.
