Footwear should be effortless, supportive, soft, and sock-like. This Boxer Boot is super soft and comes as close to integrating the foot into the boot as Magritte's Red Model painting.
Designed like a second skin, you can tailor a perfect fit with laces at the front and the back of the boot. Bare ankle, heavy cashmere sock - no problem. The leather has a grain finish, natural and vegetable dyed - perfect for next-to-skin wear. Being unlined it fits like a glove and the sole bed is well-cushioned for pillow-like walking. We use a leather sole on this boot - easily re-soled time and time again for its timeless wear.
The Malbec leather is a rich shade of Burgundy that only gets better with age. Nothing patina's like vegetable-dyed leather - just look any old shots of Bob Dylan and his wonderful boots.
